Welcome to Kraken Corgi! We offer dog care tips, dog training advice, and more!
I finally bought a furminator deshedding tool for Bella. This tool is amazing! I was a little skeptical about whether or not the furminator would actually work. Luckily, I found a older model fruminator deshedding tool on sale at Amazon for just $14. If you have ever looked at these tools, then you know they are regularily $50+.

The Furminator reduces shedding up to 90% after 4-6 weeks.
The Furminator deshedding tool doesn’t look like much but it does an amazing job of getting lose hairs off of Bella (my corgi). If you don’t have a corgi but your dog sheds a lot, this is a deshedding tool well worth the expense.
The model in the picture above is an older model and it’s the one I bought. There is a newer furminator model which has an ejector to release the hair. With the model I have after every brush stroke, I have to clean out the fruminator, which really isn’t a big deal.
The Furminator Deshedding Tool Results
Here’s Bella and the pile of hair the Furminator deshedding tool removed the first time I tried it on her. Look at that pile, it’s crazy! This is after brushing her back for about 5 minutes. There’s enough fur there for another little baby kraken corgi.
I love the Furminator deshedding tool. I’ve only had the Furminator for just over a week and it’s already made a huge improvement in the amount of dog hairs around the house. Bella loves the Furminator too. She loves being brushed and actually chomps at me when I stop brushing her because she wants more.

Furminator Deshedding Tool – One Week Later
I brushed Bella a few times a week the first week and got piles about like what you see to the left here.
Yesterday, I used the Furminator and got all this hair from Bella. This is a full week after I first got the Furminator deshedding tool. As you can see the corgi hair is very light colored, and Bella is a reddish brown. The tool, is actually getting the lose undercoat of fur. The undercoat is resposible for most shedding.
Since using this tool, Bella’s coat has been so smooth and shiney. She looks and feels cleaner. If you have a dog which sheds a lot then I highly recommend getting your own Furminator.

Update – 1 Week and 2 Days Later – Still More Fur!
This is the 4th or 5th time I have brushed Bella. Look at this pile of fur I got with the Furminator deshedding tool! Bella still loves being brushed with the Furminator and gets mad at me when I stop. Poor Bella must have been so itchy with all that loose hair!

I don’t personally have this Furminator deshedding tool but it is already getting great reviews!
